Anpanman．アンパンマン

Anpanman, "Red bean bun superman" in English, is a Japanese cartoon that we loved in our childhood. Most of the characters are some kinds of bread, and this Anpan (Red bean bread) is the main character, always being the hero to save crisis. 

The very original allusion of the Anpanman story was from a very kind and generous round-faced human sending bread to kids with hunger regardless of his own danger. Later in the cartoon, this Anpan superman became a character that would break its own face that was actually made of red bean bun to people with hunger. I think the smiley face and its energy already brought warmth and big love to the surrounding.

Our one and a half year-old cute little nephew will be visiting us this Christmas. I am thinking of and practicing some attractive and delicious food to spoil his appetite 👶. Bon appétit!!
